    Even just having 7 days worth could make all the difference imo.

    well it'll get you over the most minor inconvenient events like power cuts and most public transport stoppages that's for sure.

    Having stored food,toiletries etc. helped us loads when I was made suddenly redundant 4 years ago.I was left being owed wages/ redundancy money at a moments notice.Without that stash we would have been scuppered! If anyone needed one single reason to prep,the threat of job loss is IT.

    yes prepping for personal events is where everyone starts.
    I have been a prepper for most of my life only we didn't call it that back then, it was just putting stuff back for a "rainy day".
